Through programs like EBT acceptance, Market Match, and our Shopper Loyalty Program, we help stretch food budgets, support healthy choices, and give back to the neighbors who shop with us each week. Whether you’re using benefits or simply love supporting local farmers, there are extra ways to make your market visit go further.

North Park Farmers Market EBT & Food Access Program

The North Park Farmers Market proudly accepts CalFresh / SNAP EBT for eligible food items, making fresh, local food more accessible to the community. Shoppers can swipe their EBT card at the Information Booth to receive market scrip for use with participating vendors.

In addition to EBT, several farmers also accept WIC and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) benefits, expanding access for families and seniors.

Market Match Program (“Get More Produce”)

Shoppers who use EBT automatically qualify for the Market Match program. This is a dollar-for-dollar matching program that matches EBT withdrawals up to $15 per market visit.

That means participants can receive up to an additional $15 free to spend specifically on fresh fruits and vegetables helping stretch food budgets while encouraging healthy choices.

North Park Farmers Market Loyalty Program

To thank regular shoppers, the market offers a loyalty program. Visitors can pick up a loyalty card at the Information Booth and receive a stamp for each visit.

After 10 visits and purchases from 20 vendors, shoppers earn $5 in Market Bucks to spend at the market.

It’s a simple way to reward community support while encouraging shoppers to explore more vendors.
